These terms apply when you buy from our online shop or book a table, High Tea or the VIP High Tea Cup with Cambewarra Estate Winery (ABN 72 433 416 223), 520 Illaroo Road, Bangalee NSW 2541. "We" and "us" means Cambewarra Estate Winery.
Delivery & returnsPrivacy policy
Buying alcohol
You must be 18 or older to buy alcohol from us, and you will be asked to confirm your age at checkout. Liquor Act 2007: it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Liquor licence LIQO660030796.
We may ask for proof of age, and we may refuse or cancel a sale or delivery if we can't confirm the buyer or recipient is 18 or older, if they appear intoxicated, or if we reasonably believe the alcohol is being bought for someone under 18. If we cancel an order for one of these reasons before it is delivered, we'll refund what you paid for the undelivered items.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Delivery charges are shown before you pay. See Delivery & returns.
- Online shop payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Prices and availability can change. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
Your order
Your order is confirmed once payment is successful and you receive your receipt by email. Please check your details carefully, including your email address and delivery address. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a price was clearly a mistake, we'll contact you and offer a suitable alternative or a refund.
Bookings
Bookings are made through NowBookIt, our booking system, and these rules apply:
- Wine tasting, drinks and snack menu tables: no payment is needed to book. For bookings of 6 or more guests, credit card details are required as a booking guarantee (pre-authorisation), as per the terms and conditions outlined when you book. Your credit card is not charged at the time of booking. Please book for your whole group and tell us in the notes if anyone isn't tasting.
- High Tea: a deposit of $10 per person secures your booking. It is deducted from your bill on the day. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, change or don't arrive. If your numbers drop within 24 hours of your booking, the full price applies for the missing guests.
- VIP High Tea Cup: full payment is required when you book. Because sittings are so limited, tickets are non-refundable and can't be moved to another date. If it rains and the Cup can't be used at least once during your sitting, your High Tea moves inside and we refund the difference between VIP and standard High Tea.
- Dietary requirements: please tell us when you book. Gluten free, vegan and dairy free High Tea is an extra $3 per person. We can't guarantee to cater for dietary needs on same-day bookings, and our kitchen handles common allergens, so please speak to us about any serious allergy.
- Surcharges: a 7% surcharge applies on Sundays and 15% on public holidays. Cakeage is $5 per person.
- Outdoor seating: if it is raining or too windy, tables booked outside move inside.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are sold and managed through NowBookIt, not through our online shop. A platform fee may apply at checkout, and vouchers may take up to 24 hours to become valid. The expiry date is shown on your voucher and is at least three years from purchase, as the Australian Consumer Law requires for most gift vouchers.
Stays, weddings and functions
Our stays are booked through Airbnb, so Airbnb's terms and the cancellation policy shown on the listing apply. Weddings, elopements, High Tea "To Go" and private events are confirmed with us directly, and we'll give you any specific terms when we confirm your booking.
Your consumer rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights. For anything not covered by those rights, and as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
